Giora Feidman出生于阿根廷布宜诺斯艾利斯，他的比萨拉比亚的犹太父母为逃避迫害移民到那里。Feidman来自一个犹太音乐世家。他的父亲，祖父和曾祖父为婚礼成人礼制作音乐，也为东欧的节日庆典制作音乐。1975年他与他的个人经理Ora Bat-Chaim结婚。
音乐生涯
Feidman作为在布宜诺斯艾利斯的科隆剧院交响乐团一名成员，开始了他的职业生涯。两年后，他移民到以色列，成为以色列爱乐乐团最年轻的单簧管演奏家。他在乐团超过了20年。在70年代初，他开始了他的独唱生涯。他与the Berliner Symphoniker,the Kronos Quartet,the Polish Chamber Philarmonic,the Munich Chamber Philarmonic Orchestra,和The Munich Radio Orchestra一起演奏。1974年，以色列爱乐乐团委托作曲家Misha Segal为Giora Feidman的管弦乐团写一首单簧管协奏曲。电影导演Steven Spielberg邀请他为《Schindler's List》的电影配乐演奏单簧管，荣获七项奥斯卡奖。
