早年生活
John是90年代后期乐队According To John的主唱。2001年乐队解散后，他在科罗拉多的South Link CPP(Free Methodist Church)成为了Worship Leader。
生涯
2007年，John与Christian公司Beach Street Records签约并在2007年3月发行了他的首张专辑《The Blessing》。他的单曲《While I'm Waiting》在影片《Fireproof》中出现后成为美国Christian电台热播歌曲。John完成了他的第三张录音室专辑《As For Me And My House》，并在2011年5月3日发行，该作品收录了11首歌曲，包括主打歌《As For Me And My House》。这张专辑是由Jason Hoard制作的，是他在City Of Peace Records公司首次发行的作品。他的第五张录音室专辑《Crazy Faith》于2015年8月21日在City Of Peace Media公司发行。
