東京を拠点に活動するロックバンド。それぞれ国内、国外、メジャーシーン、インディーズシーンと幅広く活動経験を積んできたメンバーが集結し、現メンバーで2012年に結成。同年夏から本格的なライブ活動を開始。彼らのこれまでの活動にて培われた人生観がダイレクトに伝わってくるアグレッシブかつ繊細なサウンドは圧巻。日々めまぐるしく変わっていく音楽シーンの中、芯が通ったストレートなロックサウンドは泥臭ささえ感じさせるが、Masの英詩ボーカルから放たれる独特な世界観が融合する事で、まさに【世界標準】なサウンドへと昇華されている。
2005年にPug Jelly/Saw Loser (Universal Music、現The Dirt Radicals)として海外で活動をしていたMas Kimuraのプロジェクトとして生まれる。幼少期から海外で育ったMasの英語詩、洋楽と邦楽の両サイドを持ち合わせた楽曲アレンジ、独特なメロディーの延長に垣間みえるエモーショナルなスクリームを武器にこれまでも数多くのリスナーを魅了してきた。
結成して間もなくリリースしたEPが当時拠点にしていた東南アジアで人気を呼び、シンガポールの最大規模のフェス、BayBeats Festival (70,000人/3日)のトリ前に抜擢される。１年後には日本ツアーも決行し、国内版をリリース。
勢いに乗る中、メンバー脱退等に見舞われ惜しまれつつも活動休止を発表する。
その後、Masは暫くの海外活動の後新たな活動ベースを求め活動拠点を日本に移した。そしてYoshi (ex.Dont Turn Away)、Masa、Mutsumiの3人と出会い、Nothing To Declareの再始動を決意する。
2012年にはライブや音源制作へ向けたスタジオワークを開始し、再始動1st シングル”Somebody Wants Me Dead”のMusic Videoをリリース。iTunes等でのデジタル配信も開始し、同時に本格的なライブ活動をスタートさせた。
2013年春にはMaximum 10(FACT, sfpr, Pop Disaster etc.)のオムニバス「MAYDIE!!」への参加、５月にはアルバムのリリースも予定されている。
NOTHING TO DECLAREis an Alternative rock band from Tokyo. The band was founded in 2005 in Singapore as Mas Kimura’s solo project during his earlier music career as a member of Pug Jelly/Saw Loser (Universal).
Soon after the formation, NOTHING TO DECLARE released “Nothing To Declare Ep” which quickly rocketed this project onto a headlining slot in Singapore’s biggest outdoor rock festival BayBeats (70,000pax/3 days). The band then set out an array of shows that very same year capped by a nationwide tour of Japan, gaining the firm platform for where they stand today. Since then the band has been active in South East Asia.
In 2012, NOTHING TO DECLARE was put from a project into a touring band when Mas met Yoshi, Masa and Mutsumi in Tokyo. The band soon started jamming and writing for their debut album release as NOTHING TO DECLARE.
With the release of the single “Somebody Wants Me Dead” on iTunes in 2012, NTD returned back on the road, touring in various cities across Japan and South East Asia.
In May 2013 they released their debut album “Your Obsession” distributed in all major record stores across Japan, and online stores such as iTunes and Amazon, worldwide.
