像 Vangelis 范吉利斯 和 让-雅尔 等天才的多面手，也不可能自己完成全部音乐制作；在两位大师背后的工作团队中，同时出现的一个名字就是 Frederick Rousseau，一位法国音乐家。 　　1983年，Vangelis 范吉利斯 在巴黎遇到在“Musicland”音乐商店工作的 Frederick Rousseau，很快相中了这位当时还默默无闻的导购员，Frederick Rousseau 开始参与到 Vangelis 范吉利斯 的众多音乐项目中。有趣的是 Frederick Rousseau 后来透露：经典的《Conquest of Paradise 征服天堂》仅仅花费了两个月来制作，“这实在是太快了”。为 Vangelis 范吉利斯 工作的同时，Frederick Rousseau 在巴黎建立了一间名为Adequat的录音室，每年约花费一半的时间专门从事自己的音乐制作。Frederick Rousseau 也是法国电音大师 让·雅尔 的得力助手之一，他为 让·雅尔 的项目工作已经超过25年，包括 让·雅尔 最为国人熟知的两张专辑：《China Tour》和《Oxygene》。除此之外，Frederick Rousseau 更为丰富的背景是他参与了众多的电影、电视配乐和流行音乐的制作，其中2005年的《Alexander 亚历山大大帝》的OST他更是以联合制作人的身份出现。 Frederick Rousseau (born 1958, Paris) belongs to the generation that witnessed the beginning of New Age music and the explosion of technologic applications to the entertainment world. His musical research is based on electronic sounds that he mixes with ethnic instruments, classical orchestras and to voices of all tones, colours and provenances.
